Meeting virtually, reimagined…

As teams across the country continue to work remotely, Microsoft have announced some more Teams updates making virtual meetings easier, coming from October. To help us all stay connected and increase collaboration.

The Breakout Room

Split your attendees into smaller groups, to encourage discussion and brainstorming.
Need to clarify some information? Not a problem, you can still make announcements to all breakout rooms, or hop between rooms and talk to each group privately.

Customise your layout

Improve everyone’s viewing experience, with a wider variety of together mode scenes, to transport your team into. Or transport yourself into the corner of your presentation slides and help keep people engaged.

Recap Notes

Were you too busy to make the meeting? Don’t fall behind. Keep updated with the meeting recording, transcript and shared files. Automatically shared in the Chat Tab when the meeting is over.

The Meeting Room

Transform your business’ meeting spaces to ensure your users can get the most out of their virtual meetings. With new features such as:

  • The Teams Room Remote – easily control your microphone, screen layout and camera from a central control panel
  • Capacity Notifications – to keep your team safe. Set a capacity limit for your meeting room and alerts will remind your users when the room is over capacity.
  • Teams Panel – allows for easier space management. This panel can be mounted outside a room, for clear view of current availability, meeting schedules and details
    (available from early next year).

To get you started with your meeting room transformation, Microsoft, along with their partners are setting up two meeting rooms for no additional charge. Get in touch with us today to learn more.
